Guns + Butter for Charity, Brew, View, Renew

DETROIT—The food is usually reason enough to attend a Guns + Butter pop-up dinner, but this September 25th they'll be hosting a dinner for a charitable cause. The "Armas y Mantequilla" (Spanish for guns and butter) dinner with feature Peruvian food, drinks, and information about Casa Mantay, a home for at-risk teen mothers and their children in Cusco, Peru. HARBOR SPRINGS—Heading Up North this weekend? Enjoy the weather and the 20th anniversary of Taste of Harbor Springs, from 12:00-3:00 pm. on September 21st. To celebrate the event they're giving out free commemorative wine glasses and two free drinks to everyone who attends. This year is also extra special because it starts off the first ever Harbor Springs Restaurant Week, with participating restaurants offering both lunch and dinner specials.[Petoskey News]

ROSEDALE PARK—Next Friday, September 27th, Always Brewing in Rosedale Park will be offering beer by Millking It Productions, food by Social Suchi, and two short documentaries by Corktown Cinemas. The event is part of a larger series called "Brew + View + Renew" which will take place in a different place each month.
