The rumors we've heard of a new Cass Ave. coffee shop and ice cream concern turn out to be true — Melt, a gelato, candy and coffee storefront is ready and rearing to open by the end of the month, which is also the end of next week. Aaron Haithcock, Melt's owner, has been hard at work on the space for years, but he seems to be finally at a point where he can finish his work and light up the 'Open' sign. The menu is said to include traditional coffee drinks, plus customer-created milkshakes and gelato-infused coffee items.
