IndianHill.jpgThere's certainly been a good deal of 'Creative Class in Pontiac' coverage in the Oakland Press as of late, but with the recent news that the financial emergency in the Oakland County seat is now over, it seems that arts and crafty types have moved in in the interim. Plans for "upscale residential, restaurants and a live/work area for artists" are in the works for local developer Bob Waun, and "a wine cellar, upscale wine shop and an outstanding bakery" are already open on the city's Sagniaw Street. Another false "Renaissance" narrative in the works? Or something more permanent? Depends on how outstanding that bakery really is. [ClickOnDetroit]
