Grocery chain Meijer unleashed its first ever metro Detroit location at The Gateway Marketplace this morning at 6 a.m. to lines of freebie-hungry, grocery-loving shoppers. Curbed Detroit notes that this store is 190,000 square feet, nine times larger than the newfangled Whole Foods. It's also the only store out of Michigan's 103 locations that isn't open 24 hours.
