While there's sadly no new information about the "classic diner and...upscale American bistro" pegged to open on the first floor of the soon-to-be restored Grand Army of the Republic Buildling in this write-up, it's still a lovely read on why developers Tom and David Carleton are betting long on downtown Detroit. The simple fact that the brothers refurbished the building on Library Street that now houses Vincente's Cuban Cuisine bodes well for the next two restaurants to open in a Carelton Brothers re-creation.
