Toast in Ferndale is making some big changes, announcing today that they have hired both a new chef and a new manager. The new chef is Steve Matthews, and the manager is Kat Dowdall.
Chef Matthews is a local with varied experience. He last held the position of morning sous chef at Café Muse in Royal Oak. Dowdall worked as a server at the Birmingham Toast, and she held positions across the country before starting work in Michigan, working in serving, bartending, and managerial positions in California and Hawaii.
