Midtown's Dazzling New Sculpture and a Big Dan Gilbert Purchase

DOWNTOWN— Dan Gilbert scooped up yet another giant building downtown. This time, it's the 60,000-square-foot goliath known as the home of Eastern Wig and Hair. A unique facade and a location next to the Hudson's site has us wondering what's in store.

MIDTOWN— A bustling corner in Midtown has a brand new light sculpture, which serves the duel purpose of providing visual interest and aiding our woeful streetlight situation. It looks even more mesmerizing lit up in the snow.

MIDTOWN— The crumbling Davenport Apartment building was recently announced as a renovation candidate, and we're already seeing signs of construction. Workers were spotted earlier this week working on utilities (we think). See what's ahead.
