MIDTOWN— Planning on heading over to the regular Dr. Sushi Monday pop-up at Rodin? Take note, it's been moved for tonight to Good Girls Go To Paris Crepes just a few doors down. Doors open at 5:00 p.m. and food is served until they run out. Oh, and don't worry, they'll still have a full bar. [Facebook]
FERNDALE— Treat Dreams is going to be adding to their expanded storefront on November 16th with Wicked Donuts. The dozen or so varieties, made in house, will change every week, and other pastries will be available soon. Oh, and they'll be serving Great Lakes Coffee. [Eat It Detroit]
MICHIGAN— Founders Brewing Co. has created a special label as requested by Newport News Shipbuilding for one of their craft beers in honor of the new Navy aircraft carrier the USS Gerald R. Ford. Ford, the 38th President of the United States, grew up in Grand Rapids. The beer will be served in the Newport News area and at a private Christening dinner for the ship. [Crains]
DEARBORN— The second Detroit episode of Fresh Off The Boat with Eddie Huang is available to watch online. In it he visits a Dearborn grocery store, eats some pastries at Shatila, and discusses Islam with a group of young activists. [-ED-]
