Eastern Market's November Third Thursday Event to Support COTS
When and Where: Thursday, November 21, 2013 from 5 - 9 p.m.
Detroit Eastern Market in Shed 5, 2934 Russell Street. Detroit, MI 48207Join Eastern Market for another edition of Third Thursdays. This family-friendly event features food and fun. Vendors will be available just in time to start holiday shopping. November's Third Thursday will feature the best of local food trucks and this month, to keep warm, Nick Austin from WDET 101.9 New Soul Sunday will be spinning Hip Hop, Jazz, Funk, House and Electronica tunes.
In recognition of Homelessness and Hunger Awareness Week, Eastern Market will host a Soup and Chili Throw Down to benefit COTS (Coalition on Temporary Shelter) For $5, guests can purchase "Tastes" from Supino's, Trinosophes, Russell Street Deli, Vivio's, Zeff's and Milano Bakery & Cafe or bring items to donate to COTS to taste for free.
