FERNDALE— Dine Drink Detroit is just around the corner, but Ferndale didn't want to miss out on all the restaurant week fun so from October 7-13th they're hosting the first ever Ferndale Restaurant Week and pretty much everyone is participating. There are $10, $20, and $30 dollar options and it includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Expect a lot of flexibility and some seriously good food. This one is worth checking out. [Eat It Detroit]

HAMTRAMCK— In small but good news, new Hamtramck hot spot Rock City Eatery is open until 2:00 a.m. today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday) and better yet, they're now accepting credit cards! [Facebook]

HAMTRAMCK— Wondering what's on the menu at the next Revolver dinner on October 11th? The Cook's Crossing is the chef for the evening, and as usual diners can expect four courses, tip and tax included, for $35, and there are even vegetarian offerings. See the menu here. [Facebook]

CORKTOWN— Last but never least, Two James Spirits has finally settled on what will hopefully be permanent hours for the forseeable future, so no more guesswork. They're closed Mondays but open at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday, but closing times vary wildly so check the link for details.[Facebook]
