Meet A Bartender

This is the third segment of Cocktail Week 2013's Meet A Bartender feature, where we get to know just a little bit about the stellar people who mix our drinks, toast to our good news, offer friendly advice, and sometimes dry our tears (with a good stiff drink).

Meet Dave Kwiatkowski, owner and head mixologist at The Sugar House in Corktown, Detroit. Dave's favorite drink to make on the job? "I love making a Queen's Park Swizzle for a guest. It's a guaranteed WOW in both taste and presentation." And for himself? "Personally, I stick to a classic Sazerac; bone dry and sharp as a tack."

Watch for Dave's contribution to the list of the best under-appreciated places to grab a drink this afternoon, and look out for his tips on how best avoid, or get over, a hangover tomorrow.
