Welcome to the start of Cocktail Week 2013 an Eater special coordinated all across North America. On the local level, Eater Detroit will be focusing on the drinks, bars, and people who make this city such a great cocktail town, from dive bars to craft cocktails to tasting rooms.
Throughout the week expect maps of the hottest places to get a cocktail, the best happy hours, and the bars where bartenders go on their off nights. You'll also be introduced to bartenders from all over Detroit and Metro Detroit, who will share their favorite drinks to make and imbibe. Our goal is to feature great places in and around the city to drink a cocktail, to put a name with a face, and to show the personalities of the awesome people faithfully mixing our drinks.
