This has officially been a horrible winter, and it's warming up this week only to sink to supposedly Polar Vortex levels of cold again next week. Will spring and summer ever arrive? The answer is yes, but they're a long ways away. Therefore, the newest Eater Detroit Mini Map is summer themed, featuring some of the most warm-weather foods, drinks, activities, and views in the city.
A mini map is a hyper-focused map that's meant to give just a taste of a category or neighborhood, not the whole picture. This one includes five of the most summery culinary experiences in the city, within reason of course. We left off one of your favorites, guaranteed, but that's okay. Let us know what we missed in the comments and this could become a full fledged map in the future.
Have an idea for a mini map? Let us know! Maybe it's best cheap restaurants in the city, Downtown's greatest coffee, can't miss restaurants in Corktown, or the biggest margaritas in Mexican Town. Don't be shy, make a suggestion!
